King Trail Events

General Rules

BUFF Forest Force Run Series are running events  organised by King Trail Events Pte Ltd. It is mandatory for all registered participants to agree to the Rules & Regulations as detailed in the sub sections below. These terms and conditions are in their current form, part of the contract between the Organisers and the Participant.

 

  1. All events organised by King Trail Events Pte Ltd are non refundable. Once a registration for an event has been completed and payment processed, there will be no refunds given out under any circumstances whatsoever. All participants are to acknowledge and comply with this stipulation when registering for an event. Failure to do so will absolve the organiser, King Trail Events Pte Ltd, from all disputes, legal or otherwise that might arise as a result.  
  2. All categories are open to the general public from the ages of 18yrs as of 20th March 2023. 
  3. BUFF Forest Force Run Series are BYOB events (bring your own bottles). Participants are to bring along their own means of obtaining hydration during the events. There will be no papercup provided by the organiser at the events. 
  4. The Organiser reserves exclusive rights to amend the Rules and Regulations as they deem fit without giving prior notification or reasons thereof.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event at any time, in which case the Organiser will make an effort to inform the Participants prior to the date of the event. In case the event has to be cancelled or postponed, there shall be no refund of registration fees paid and the Organiser shall not be held liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused thereof.
  6. The Participant hereby agrees to provide true, accurate and complete information as required in the registration form (Registration Data) and will promptly update and maintain the Registration Data in order to keep it true, accurate and complete. The Organiser may contact the Participant at any time, by email, for any matter regarding Registration Data clarification or inaccurate information.
  7. If the Participant provides any information that is not true, inaccurate or incomplete, or if the Organiser has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is false, inaccurate or incomplete, the Organiser reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Participant’s registration immediately and notify the Participant about the termination.
  8. Any disputes arising from participation in Livingstone Rail Run and The Berserker Marathon shall be referred to Arbitration to be conducted in Singapore under the legal laws of Singapore.
  9. The Organiser reserves exclusive rights to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other media records of the Event for any legitimate purposes, inclusive of commercial advertising.
  10. The Participant agrees that his/her last name, first name, year of birth, bib number and race results (placing, times) may be published in all print media relevant to the event and in all electronic media such as the Internet.
  11. Participants agree that all personal data can be provided to a third party for the purposes of timekeeping, compiling lists of the results and publication of those lists on all media channels, outlets and on the internet.
  12. Personal data provided by the Participants in the Registration Data will be stored and used for any purposes connected to the execution of the event only, especially with regards to personal data necessary for the payment process. By registering for the event, the Participant hereby agrees that his/her personal data be stored for that purpose.
  13. The Organiser reserves the right to limit or refuse event entries without assigning any reasons thereof.
  14. The Organiser reserves the right to replace any event entry pack items with other items of similar value or remove any event entry pack items without prior notice to the Participants.
  15. The Organiser reserves the right to set the registration fees as deemed appropriate.
  16. The Organiser shall not be held accountable or responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete event entry personal data.
  17. If a registered Participant chooses not to enter the race or declares to the Organiser of his/her withdrawal, he/she will not be entitled to any refund of the entry fees. This regulation will not be exempted under any circumstances whatsoever.
  18. Organisational safety measures will be announced to the Participants, by the Organiser, prior to the start of the event. Instructions given by the Organiser and event staff are to be followed strictly at all times for the duration of the event, without exception. If these instructions are not adhered to and leads to any disruption of the event or jeopardises the safety of other participants or members of the public, the Organiser is entitled to exclude the person or disqualify the Participant.
  19. In case of cancellation of the event or failure to commence due to circumstances beyond the control of the organiser (like bad weather), the Participant has no right to claim a refund of the entry fee or a proportionate reimbursement for other damages, such as travel expenses.
  20. The Organiser reserves the right to change or amend the race route at their sole discretion without prior notice.
  21. Strictly no littering of the race route is permitted as it is under the authority of NParks. Any participant caught littering by Nparks personnel will have to be held accountable for their actions under Nparks regulations and be dealt with accordingly by Nparks.
  22. No forms of external assistance, such as pacers, will be allowed during the course of the race. Participants with pacers or any other form of external assistance will be immediately disqualified.
  23. Finisher’s medal: Only those Participants who managed to complete the race within the official cut off time for each category will be entitled to a Finisher’s Medal.
  1. While all reasonable and necessary precautions will be undertaken by the Organiser to ensure the safety of all participants, each participant take part at their own risks having agreed to all terms and conditions stipulated in the Rules & Regulations. The Organiser will not be liable for any health risks of a participant that are in any way connected with participating at BUFF Forest Force Run Series.
  2. The Organiser, their sponsors, partners and their loss or damage, suffered or otherwise during the course of the event or howsoever arising.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to remove or stop any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing or starting the run to prevent him/her from causing greater physical harm or injury to himself/herself.
  4. It is strongly recommended to get personal liability insurance coverage for this type of event. Please check your existing insurance plans for coverage.
  5. The Organiser disclaims all liability for damages that may arise because a participant is prevented by legal regulations or government orders to participate in the event.
  6. The Organiser will not be held accountable or liable for lost or misplaced valuables, clothing, equipment or any other kinds of personal belongings.
  7. For safety reasons, all participants are strongly advised to run on the designated race route and to strictly follow the instructions of route marshals stationed on the race course. The Organiser shall not be held accountable for any injury or mishap that arises from a participant not adhering to instructions from route marshals out in the race route.
  8. Every healthy and reasonably trained runner who has reached the age of 18 years and above is eligible to participate in the event.

All events organised by King Trail Events Pte Ltd are non refundable events. There will be no refunds issued under any circumstances whatsoever. All participants are required to take note of our refund policy and agree to its stipulations without fail before registering for the race. Failure to do so will not be held accountable against us in any dispute arising from a refund claim made by a participant.
